There is always hope.
That statement seems trivial in our darkest places, but it is the truth. The nature of the mental illness beast is that it robs us of our sight. Our ability to see hope. Anxiety steals tomorrow’s joy, depression blinds us with our shame and despair. So many different beasts affect how we see things. But there is always hope.
Hope comes when we step out of hiding and into the light. If mental illness is a dark room, speaking up takes us over to the light switch. Connecting with people, medical professionals, and therapists keep that light on.
There is always hope.
Our aim is to share our hope that comes from Jesus with you, but we also want to provide ways to connect and start turning your light on. There are several ways to communicate even when you don’t know where to turn.
There is always hope.
